Regular school attendance is essential for student success! Please take note of the following attendance guidelines and expectations:

✅ Why Attendance Matters

  • Students who attend school regularly are more likely to succeed academically and stay engaged.

  • Missing just 2 days a month adds up to 18+ days a year, which can significantly impact learning.

  • Attendance affects eligibility for sports, extracurriculars, course credit and ability to obtain learner's permit/driver's license.

🕘 School Hours

  • School begins promptly at 8:30 AM.

  • Students arriving after this time are marked tardy.

  • Excessive tardies or unexcused absences may result in disciplinary actions or loss of privileges.

💬 What You Can Do

  • Schedule appointments and family trips outside of school hours whenever possible.

  • Encourage good sleep habits and morning routines to avoid tardiness.

  • Stay informed via Aspen for real-time attendance updates.

  • Remember to submit absence excuses within 5 days of returning from an absence.
